Corporate Used Equipment Donations
LexisNexis donates personal computers and other equipment to qualified nonprofit organizations. In most cases, equipment requests will be limited to five personal computers per year.

All software and data is removed from these computers prior to donation. The equipment must be in the Distribution Center's inventory and will only be released by the Center. Any other equipment determined by the Distribution Center to be available for donation (printers, accessories, furniture, etc.) may be considered for release if requested by an organization.

Eligibility
All recipient organizations must be recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt entities under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) to which deductible charitable contributions, as defined in IRS section 170(c)(2), may be made for federal income tax purposes.

Processing of Requests
Community Relations will coordinate all requests for donated equipment. Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Contacting the NonProfit Organization and Arranging Transportation
All transportation costs for donated equipment will be incurred by the nonprofit organization. Approved organizations will be contacted to arrange a schedule for equipment pickup. If the equipment is not picked up within 30 days of its availability, the request will be deleted.

The requesting nonprofit organization must complete and sign a Used Equipment Donation Application.
